What we collect, why we hold it, and who ever sees it.

Lark Media LLC ("Lark Media," "we") builds and runs marketing and communication systems for businesses and organizations. This policy covers information we collect through larkmedia.io and through the systems we operate on behalf of our clients.
The short version. We do not sell your information. We do not share your phone number or your consent to be messaged with anyone for their own marketing. Information a business's customers give us belongs to that business, and we hold it to serve them.
If you email us or submit a form on this site, we receive what you send: your name, email address, business name, website, and whatever you choose to write.
If you text, message, or chat with a business that uses our systems, we process your phone number or messaging handle, the contents of your messages, and the timestamps and delivery status of those messages. Where a business asks us to look up publicly available information to answer you (for example, public county property records for a stated address), we process that too.
This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file.
To answer you, to complete what you asked for, to keep a record of the conversation so a human picking it up does not make you start over, and to meet legal and carrier record-keeping obligations. We keep it as long as the client relationship it belongs to is active, and then for as long as law requires. A client can ask us to delete their data at any time, and we do.
Only two categories, and neither is an advertiser:
Explicitly: no mobile information - phone numbers, consent to be messaged, or opt-in records - is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with the service providers above, solely to deliver the messages you asked for, is the only exception, and they may not use it for their own marketing.
Message frequency varies. Most conversations are a handful of messages while you are getting something done, and recurring updates, where a business sends them, are typically no more than a few per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier, not the business and not Lark Media, sets those rates. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. The full detail is on the text messaging page.
We use AI systems to draft content and replies. How, and where they are not allowed, is public on its own page. We reach models through business APIs where the provider does not use the traffic to train its models. If you ask whether something was machine-drafted, you get a straight answer.
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it.
Credentials and client data are held in access-controlled systems. We work in our clients' own accounts using their credentials wherever possible, so their data stays under their control and can be taken back at any time.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we handle messages, say so on the text messaging page.
